Report on the 2022 KidWind Competition in Asia

Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU), the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and TaiPower on October 22 and 23 organized the two-day 2022 KidWind Competition in Asia on Floor 1 of Building E of Shalun Green Energy Technology Demonstration Site participated by 300 island wide contestants in 80 groups.  The opening ceremony on October 22 was attended by representatives from the government, academia, and the industry.

In his welcome remarks at the opening ceremony, CJCU President, Dr. Lee Yung-Lung, encouraged contestants to make use of design thinking for different creation and utilization of green energy to respond to the achievement of net zero target and various challenges for more comprehensive, feasible, and environmental friendly solutions. With gradual easing of future pandemic restrictions, more contestants from other countries were expected to participate in the 2022 KidWind Competition in Asia.
