Presentation of CJCU USR Program in JATS


On May 30th (Sunday), Dean of the International College of Practice and Education for the Environment(ICPEE) of Chang Jung Christian University, Hong Ching-Yi, presented CJCU’s University Social Responsibility (USR) Program, the “Green Community Roots & Shoots Program- A case study of the social responsibility of a Christian university" in the 23rd Congress of 7th Subcommittees in the Japan Association for Taiwan Studies(JATS) to introduce CJCU’s long-term efforts and devotion to USR and establishment of the ICPEE and the Bachelor Degree Program of International Program for Sustainable Development for fulfilling CJCU’s USR and linking up to the international trend. Dean Hong emphasized that being a private university CJCU developed its features with social functions, internationalization, problem-solving, and USR to respond to external changes brought by lower birth rate and climate change.
